Non Diegetic Sounds

Sound whose source is neither visible on the screen nor has been implied to be present in the action. Examples of non diegetic sounds are narrator's commentary, sound effects or mood music added for dramatic effect. Non diegetic sounds are used throughout the above clip. I think this is to do with the genre of this upcoming series and therefore helps to create a 'spooky' atmosphere.
