Visual Effects

Visual effects involve the integration of live-action footage and generated imagery to create environments which look realistic, but would be dangerous, costly, or simply impossible to capture on film. They are used above at 0.08. I think they are used because they make scenes more realistic and therefore make them more appealing for the audience.
